Mint Kababs

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 medium white onion chopped
  • ½ cup chopped fresh mint leaves
  • 1 small chopped tomato
  • 2 medium cloves minced garlic about 1 tablespoon
  • 1 teaspoon ground turmeric
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • ¼ cup olive oil

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350
  • In a bowl combine all of the ingredients and mix well (try not to overmix)
  • Divide your mixture into equal parts and begin shaping the mixture in small cigars (wet your hands with a little bit of water so the mixture does not stick to your hands)
  • Chill the meat in the refrigerator for 30 minutes or overnight.
  • Add your kebabs to an oiled sheet pan and add to the oven and allow to cook for 20-25 minutes. serve with a side salad and rice and enjoy!
