My mom made these cookies/bars more than 15 years ago and we’ve been making them every Ramadan and Eid since then, they’re insanely addictive but so delicious hope you give it a shot.
Chocolate,Hazelnut and more Cookies
Ingredients
- 250 grams Digestive biscuits
- 1 cup Melted butter
- 1 cup Sweetened Condensed milk
- 1 cup Shredded coconut
- 1 cup Chocolate chips
- 1 cup Hazelnut toasted,completely cooled, chopped roughly
- 1 cup Shredded almonds
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 175C
- In a food processor add your digestive biscuits to create a sandy-like texture, add the biscuits to a bowl and mix your butter in the dried biscuits until the mixture can hold its shape. Apply the buttery -biscuits to a 23 cm x 28 cm x 6 cm pan, add the condensed milk evenly on top, then follow with all of your desired toppings.
- Bake in the oven for 30 – 35 minutes or until edges are brown. Allow to completely cool and enjoy!
Notes
This recipe is versatile, the two essential ingredients would be the digestive cookies, butter and condensed milk. Every other ingredient you can substitute with whatever you have/like.
