Fluffy flat bread
This fluffy flatbread recipe uses a simple mixture of all-purpose flour and Greek yogurt to create a delicious and tender bread that is perfect for serving alongside a variety of dishes.
Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup plain Greek yogurt
- 1/4 cup milk warm
- 4 tablespoons olive oil
Instructions
- in a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
- Add the Greek yogurt and olive oil,milk to the bowl, and mix until a dough forms.
- Knead the dough on a floured surface for 1-2 minutes, until it is smooth and elastic.
- Divide the dough into 8-10 pieces and roll each piece into a ball. cover with plastic wrap and allow to rest for 10 minutes (optional)
- Heat a nonstick pan over medium-high heat.
- Roll out each ball of dough into a thin circle, about 1/4 inch thick.
- Cook each flatbread in the heated pan for 1-2 minutes on each side, until it is puffed and golden brown.
- Serve warm.
