Ever since I can remember my mom would make these showstopping oven-baked breaded chicken! they’re juicy, tender and crispy and so so easy to make.

Mama’s oven baked breaded chicken
Ingredients
- whole cut chicken with skin
- 1 cup butter melted
- 1 tbsp salt
- 1 tbsp ground cinnamon
- 1 tbsp chilli flakes
- fine breadcrumbs
- 1 garlic clove minced
Instructions
- preheat your oven to 200 degrees celsius
- on a deep plate add your melted butter, spices, garlic, and salt and mix until combined.
- On a separate plate, add your bread crumbs.
- After washing and rinsing your chicken, dry your chicken with a paper towel (make sure you get it as dry as possible).
- Dip your chicken one by one into the butter then into the breadcrumbs fully coating the chicken.
- Add your coated chicken to a sheet pan and cover with foil.
- Bake in the oven for 1 hour, remove the foil and bake for another 15-20 minutes. you’re looking for a golden colour.
- Serve with whatever side you like and enjoy.
Notes
soak your chicken in White vinegar to get it perfectly cleaned.
